Coaching

room for one,
for two, for a few.

Three ways to work together, one heart underneath: unhurried attention, honest conversation, and small experiments you carry into your week.

Choose the room that fits the work you want to do. Not sure? The first call is free, and we can decide together.

01 · Individuals

For the conversation you keep putting off.

A woman looking out of a bright window

For the person who says yes when they mean not yet, goes quiet in the moments that matter, or keeps meeting the same pattern in every relationship and wants to understand why.

In session

We work with what’s alive for you this week: a talk you’re dreading, a decision that won’t settle, a reaction that surprised you. We slow it down, find what sits underneath, and try a new response before you need it for real.

What tends to change

  • Saying no without a speech attached

  • Catching a pattern while it’s happening, not three days later

  • Staying steady when someone you love is upset

  • Knowing what you want before anyone asks

02 · Couples

For two people who keep having the same fight.

Two people sharing an umbrella at the end of a pier on a gray lake

For partners who still choose each other but keep landing in the same argument, couples moving through a big change like a move, a baby or a loss, and anyone who wants a tune-up before small things grow.

In session

Both of you, one room, with me holding the pace. We map the loop you fall into, then learn to step out of it together: softer starts, slower turns, and listening that actually lands. Expect a few uncomfortable moments and more than a few relieved ones.

What tends to change

  • Spotting the old argument before it starts

  • Repairing in hours instead of days

  • Asking for what you need without blame

  • Feeling like teammates again

03 · Small groups

For people who grow best in good company.

Three friends talking on a blanket in an open field

For new parents, the recently separated, people leading others while carrying a lot alone, or a few friends who want to grow on purpose. Circles stay small, never more than six.

In session

Each circle meets for six weeks around one theme. We open with a short check-in, explore a single idea together, then pair up to try it. You’ll hear your own story in someone else’s words, which is often where things shift.

What tends to change

  • Feeling less alone in what you carry

  • Borrowing courage from people a step ahead

  • Leaving with tools you’ve already tried

  • A circle that keeps checking in after week six

How it works

Three steps, none of them rushed.

  1. 01

    A free first call

Twenty minutes, no preparation needed. You tell me what’s going on, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help and how I’d approach it. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll point you to someone who is.

  2. 02

    Steady sessions

We meet on a regular rhythm, online or in person. Each session has a clear focus and ends with one small, specific thing to try, so you always know what the hour was for.

  3. 03

    Between sessions

Most change happens on an ordinary Tuesday, not in my office. You’ll get a short recap after each session and a simple experiment to carry into the real conversations of your week.

Is this right for you

Good coaching starts with an honest match.

A good fit if…

  • You’re willing to look at your part, not only theirs

  • You want tools you can use, not just insight

  • You can commit to a steady rhythm for a few months

  • You’re curious about what your body does in hard moments

Probably not a fit if…

  • You’re hoping I’ll decide who’s right

  • You’re in crisis or need clinical treatment

  • One partner is being pressured to come

  • There’s ongoing abuse or control in the relationship

A note on therapy

Coaching isn’t therapy, and that matters.

Coaching looks forward and works best for people who are generally well and ready to grow. If you’re in crisis, living with a condition that needs clinical care, or experiencing abuse, a licensed therapist is the right first step, and I’m glad to help you find one.

In the US, you can call or text 988 at any hour to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Begin

the first step is a conversation.

Twenty minutes, free, and entirely about you. Bring the question you’ve been carrying around.

The monthly letter

Small notes on love, repair, and the long middle of things.

One letter a month. No noise, and you can leave anytime.
